Smoke Odor Removal

Smoke odor is one of the more difficult odors to remove from your interior. The nicotine and tobacco can trap itself inside the cloth fibers across your entire interior (in areas you can’t even see).

The two biggest factors to how much odor we can remove will come down to 1) how long it’s been smoked in and 2) how much it was smoked in.

The longer (and more intense) smoking that’s took place in the interior, the harder and longer it will take us reduce the odor to a satisfactory level.

Unfortunately if it’s a severe condition of years of heavy smoking, our chances of removing 100% are extremely low.At that point, we can definitely reduce the smoke odor, but to get rid of the smoke odor entirely, it would require you to replace some of the fabric material like the headliner, carpeting, and floor mats.

Intensive Interior Cleaning and Odor Removal Process

For any level of smoke odor, it will not be a quick 3-hour job like you’d find with our Full Interior Cleaning service. We require the vehicle to be dropped off at our shop for a minimum of two days so we ensure the process is done correctly.

The goal of the service is to not mask the smoke odor with a fragrance or perfume. It’s to remove, reduce and eliminate the layer of nicotine and tobacco that’s left behind from smoking across your interior. This is the only way to ensure long term results. Once we deliver the car to you, we want to make sure the odor not coming back.

Fortunately, we have tackled some pretty heavy smoke odor vehicles over the last year and we’re completely confident in our process. We can setup a time and date for you to come by our shop so we can inspect the interior and discuss the type of options we can produce for you.

There’s not many places in Houston that specialize in proper smoke odor removal. Simply shampooing or steaming the interior is not enough to greatly reduce or eliminate the odor.

Smoke Odor Removal Process

It is absolutely necessary you replace your cabin air filter with a new one. If you keep the old one in, even after we do the entire odor removal process, once you turn on your AC, all the trapped smoke odor in the filter will circulate right back into the interior.

Although it’s only a six-step process, it can take between 10 to 15 hours to completely finish the service. A majority of the time comes down to waiting for the Ozone treatment to be finish and air out so we can inspect it.

Notice: Due to the nature of the service, we require the vehicle to be dropped off at our shop location for at least 2 full days.
